Tunnel drainage is a special group of products for collecting and conveying surface water in tunnels and roads in deep excavations. The tunnel drainage combines a kerb with a linear drainage. It is installed along the road in a kerb zone and features Class C250 loading properties.
The tunnel drainage is manufactured to PN – EN 1433: 2005 “Drainage channels for vehicular and pedestrian areas. Classification, design and testing requirements, marking and evaluation of conformity.”
Individual tunnel drainage components are one-piece polymer concrete units. The product is classified as type “I” channel as per standard requirements. A concrete apron is not required.
